SPN annually sponsors "Embrace Life" Student Awards to recognize young people who are involved in suicide prevention and positive activities in the communities. Recipients must be under 19. The young person (s) selected are honored with a certificate, news article, and cash award: 1st place-$50.00, 2nd place-$30.00 and 3rd place-$20.00. Deadline is March 15, See Nomination Form

"Embrace Life” Student Awardee is recognized for one or more of the following criteria: Courteous and friendly to all students; community volunteer work in the area of suicide prevention, intervention or postvention; Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills; Special endeavors/non-traditional activities in the area of prevention; Excellent participation in school and He / She influences positive social behavior at school and in the community. SPN annually awards our support of EMBRACE LIFE Scholarships for projects that meet the EMBRACE LIFE interests: suicide prevention; suicide intervention; or suicide postvention.
