Suicide Prevention Network of Marinette Menominee Counties (Formerly MMCYSP) is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation which exists to help reduce the number of completed and attempted suicides among youth. A board of directors governs SPN with duly elected officers.

SPN has an entire selection of articles, informational brochures, and other materials not located on our website at Lakeshore Professional Counseling’s office and we fax or snail mail the information to requestors. SPN has a full color booth display for a variety programs in both Marinette and Menominee Counties: local Health Fairs, Kindergarten Screenings, Waterfront Festival, Mental Health Activities at the Mall. SPN distributes information through it’s website hosted by www.lakeshore-counseling.com. There are statistics, handouts, articles and links to other website's.

SPN has supplied books, handouts and videos to the fifty schools in Marinette and Menominee Counties: kindergarten through high school – public and parochial. SPN has worked with numerous local organizations: Healthy Youth Coalition, NAMI – Menominee & Marinette, YMCA, Holy Family Youth Ministry Program, Yellow Ribbon Program – Marinette, and others.
